THE BOX

Brooklyn, New York

The box was a solution to a very specific question: how do you make a furniture quality storage box for records? The search for the answer led to the creative reuse of construction waste—discarded unused white oak floorboards worked into geometric studies of the golden rectangle, the circle, and the square. The box is a sturdy furniture module that is used for shelving, seating, lighting and vinyl collecting in Dameron's office and residential projects.
